Wildflowers of Hopedale
Date: Friday May 18th

Location: Atria Draper Place, 25 Hopedale St, Hopedale
DetailsPlease join Dan Malloy as he takes you on a virtual tour of Hopedale’s beautiful wildflowers. Your adventure will include a visual exploration of heirloom blossoms and other rare blooms. Don’t forget to take time to smell the roses along the way. We hope to see you there! The event is free and open to the public. 
 
Greenleaf Garden Club Annual Plant Sale
Date: Saturday May 19th 
Time: 8am-12pm
Location: Louisa Lake, Dilla Street, Milford
DetailsThe Greenleaf Garden Club's Annual Plant Sale features perennial plants from members' gardens, annuals, herbs and house plants. Coffee and refreshments will be available. Stony Brook Wildlife Refuge Open House
Date: Saturday May 19th 
Time: 10am-2pm
Location: Stony Brook Wildlife Refuge, 108 Norfolk Street, Norfolk, MA
Details: Stony Brook's Open House will feature tours, animal presentations, demos and a White Elephant sale organized by Dan White of Wrentham for his Eagle Scout Project. Proceeds to towards building play space for children at Stony Brook. White is looking for collectibles, items and more: 508-528-3140.
 
Blackstone Valley Fishing Derby Youth Tournament 
Date: Sunday May 20th 
Time: Derby 8am-1pm,  Cookout 11am, Awards 1:15pm
Location: Hopedale Pond, Hopedale St. 
DetailsThe 6th Annual Youth Fishing Tournament will continue in celebration of Hopedale's 125th Birthday. This event is co sponsored by Fin & Feather Sports of Upton and the Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce.  Trophy and Prizes will be awarded in 5 categories; Bass, Pickerel, Trout, Perch and Blue Gill. Registration and Waiver form is needed, $15 donation, Includes a bag of tackle, Live bait (worms) and a lunch ticket (while supplies last) Pre registration is requested, anyone that pre registers by May 12th will receive a "FREE' Official Derby T-shirt and will be entered into a drawing for a week of Outdoor Adventures from Fin & Feather Sports this summer.  Click Here for Registration information.  Click here for event waiver.  
 
Bellingham's Memorial Day Parade 
Date: Sunday May 20th 
Time: 2pm
Location: Parade Route - Middle School to Town Common
Details: The parade will feature local military groups, the Bellingham Marching Band as well as bands from surrounding communities and a whole host of local groups and organizations.  A Blackhawk helicopter will land on the town common and a the MA Air National Guard will perform a flyover in F-15 jets. Ceremonies at the common will include the unvailing of 10 additional names to the Belilngham War Memorial.  Since 9/11 Bellingham has been adding the names of residents who are serving in the armed forces.
